Moscow Space Museum: amazing story of space exploration
The Moscow Space Exploration Museum is equally impressive inside and outside: it is located in the base of the 110-meter-high titanium clad obelisk dedicated to the first space missions of the USSR. This museum is truly unique, only here you will find the first artificial satellite of the Earth, or Sputnik, the first dogs travelling to space, the suit of the first astronaut Yury Gagarin, a walk-in replica of the first international space station Mir, among other equally fascinating exhibits. This tour will take you through the history of space travel from the first visionaries to the latest developments, and at the end of the tour you have a chance to taste a Russian astronaut's ration. Great for families with kids, duration just over 1 hour, combines indoor acitivites with a scenic walk in teh Cosmo Park and great picture oppotunities. This tour is both educational and entertaining, and can be combined with a walk through the VDNKh Park located nearby.
